Creating a space shaped by my lived experience, culture, and perspective—for women building lives guided by intention, self-trust, and a deeper sense of self.
My Story
Building Things
My path has taken a few unexpected turns. I've worked as a model and, earlier in life, stepped into the ring as an amateur competitive boxer, winning a New York Metro title and fighting three times at Madison Square Garden, where I became a New York Golden Gloves champion. Later, I became a certified meditation teacher after completing a 200-hour training with Three Jewels in New York City, and I am also a certified Pilates mat instructor.
My professional life eventually led me into real estate, where I began working in leasing and sales before earning a master's degree in real estate development from NYU. Today, I run RE:Vision Builders alongside my husband, guiding projects along the long and often complex path from idea to finished building.
That work deepened my understanding of how cities, buildings, and environments shape the way people live. Over time, it sparked a broader interest in design: first of spaces, then of life itself.
Returning to Practice
At the same time, I have always returned to quieter practices: movement that strengthens the body, meditation that steadies the mind, books that expand the way I think, and small rituals that bring intention into everyday life.
I am also a first-gen Dominican-American, and it shapes everything I return to, including the rituals I keep and the ones I've made my own.
Motherhood deepened many of these reflections. It has a way of sharpening your awareness of time, priorities, and the kind of life you hope to build, for yourself and for the next generation.
Writing as Integration
Writing became a way to hold all of these threads together.
Here, I write about what goes into building an intentional life. Some essays explore movement and meditation. Others reflect on home and design, style, family, and the quiet disciplines that keep a life grounded.
I don't have perfect answers. This is a place to think out loud, to document what I'm learning along the way, and to share reflections that might resonate with someone walking a similar path.
In many ways, this space is how I continue the work of designing a life that belongs to me.
What I Come Back To
What I Come Back To
Community
I've learned how much the people around me shape how I grow. The conversations, the shared experiences, the moments when someone reflects back what I couldn't see on my own. That is often where the real shifts happen.
Roots
I carry where I come from with me. Being Dominican shapes how I think about family, resilience, and the way a home feels when people gather in it. It influences how I move, how I build, and what I pass on.
Body
My body has carried me through the ring and through pregnancy. Movement is how I learned to trust it. Strength, energy, and clarity often begin there, and how I care for it carries into every other area of my life.
Joy
There's a kind of beauty in the mess: the unplanned moments, the ones that don't go perfectly, the ones that make me laugh and keep going. That lightness brings everything back into perspective.
Truth
I pay attention to what feels honest, even when it's still taking shape. The in-between moments often reveal more than the polished ones. There's clarity in allowing things to be seen as they are.
Soul
What I write, what I wear, and the spaces I create are expressions of something deeper. Each reflects a connection to my highest self: beautiful, confident, and powerful. Together, they keep me aligned with the life I want to live.
Explore the writing
Here you'll find a collection of essays, reflections, and notes on how I move, and sometimes stumble, through life. Some explore movement, meditation, and daily ritual. Others look at the homes we make, the clothes we wear, the books that shape our thinking, and the small moments that make everyday life feel meaningful.
