Creating a space shaped by my lived experience, culture, and perspective—for women building lives guided by intention, self-trust, and a deeper sense of self.
My Story
Building Things
I’ve always been drawn to the process of building things—sometimes in the physical world, always within myself.
My path has taken a few unexpected turns. I’ve worked as a published model and, earlier in life, stepped into the ring as an amateur competitive boxer, fighting three times at Madison Square Garden and once winning the New York Golden Gloves tournament. Later, I became a certified meditation teacher after completing a 200-hour training with Three Jewels in New York City, and I am also a certified Pilates mat instructor.
My professional life eventually led me into real estate, where I began working in leasing and sales before earning a master’s degree in real estate development from NYU. Today, I run a real estate business alongside my husband, navigating the long and often complex process of bringing ideas into the physical world.
That work deepened my understanding of how cities, buildings, and environments shape the way people live. Over time, it sparked a broader interest in design—not only of spaces, but of life itself.
Returning to Practice
At the same time, I have always returned to quieter practices: movement that strengthens the body, meditation that steadies the mind, books that expand the way I think, and small rituals that bring intention into everyday life.
I am also Dominican-American, something that inevitably shapes the lens through which I see the world—the way I think about family, resilience, work, and the importance of creating spaces where people feel at home.
Motherhood deepened many of these reflections. It has a way of sharpening your awareness of time, priorities, and the kind of life you hope to build—not only for yourself, but for the next generation.
Writing as Integration
Writing became a way to hold all of these threads together.
This is where I document the practices, ideas, and experiences that continue to shape how I move through life. Some entries explore wellness through movement and meditation. Others reflect on design, spaces, clothing, books, relationships, and the quiet disciplines that help create a grounded and meaningful life.
This space isn’t meant to offer perfect answers. It’s simply a place to think out loud, to document what I’m learning along the way, and to share reflections that might resonate with someone else walking a similar path.
In many ways, this space is simply my way of continuing the work of designing a life that truly belongs to me.
What I Come Back To
What I Come Back To
Community
I’ve learned how much the people around me shape how I grow. The conversations, the shared experiences, the moments where someone reflects something back to you that you couldn’t see on your own—those are often where the real shifts happen.
Roots
I carry where I come from with me. Being Dominican shapes how I think about family, resilience, and the way a home feels when people gather in it. It influences how I move, how I build, and what I value.
Body
I trust my body through movement. Strength, energy, and clarity often begin there. Taking care of how I feel physically shapes how I show up in every other area of my life.
Joy
There’s a kind of beauty in the mess—the unplanned moments, the ones that don’t go perfectly, the ones that remind you to laugh and keep going. That lightness brings everything back into perspective.
Truth
I pay attention to what feels honest, even when it’s still taking shape. The in-between moments—the ones that aren’t fully formed yet—often reveal more than the polished ones. There’s clarity in allowing things to be seen as they are.
Soul
Style, to me, is deeply personal. I wear what makes me feel like my highest self—beautiful, confident, and powerful. The same is true of the spaces I create; they should feel aligned with how I want to live and move through the world.
